I’ll be joined by Grammy-winning Jesús Florido , who brings a perspective on strings you really won’t find anywhere else, and engineer Dave Wood , who’s worked with artists like Andra Day and Dua Lipa.

If you’re a composer, songwriter, or producer working in Logic, Pro Tools, or other DAWs, this is a hands-on workshop about writing for, recording, and shaping live violin, from classical technique and cinematic tone to electric violin, pedals, and studio processing.

We’ll be breaking down practical ways to bring live strings into your music.

Reflecting on our last Emersion Nights at The Blue Door of the year!

Last October marked one year of this series, and what a journey it’s been. Grateful to have shared the stage with so many incredible artists and speakers.
At our most recent show we were joined by ambient artist Gem Auset — huge congratulations on her Grammy nomination!
— plus TEDx speaker Kat Marenzi .marenzi on unmasking the shadow self, Jahan Raymond on keys, and myself on violin. A perfect way to round out the first year of Concurrence.

Beyond the music, this series has sparked thoughtful discussions that continue to stay with me.
