We offer lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced students looking to learn music production using Abelton Live in the LA area. Weather your brand new to music production or you have been doing it for years and are looking to catch up on new techniques, we can teach you what you need to know. Learning music production takes time and dedication, but with our help you can learn what you need
to know quick without having to take the long route. lessons will cover:
- Programming/Sequencing/Composition basics and tricks
- MIDI/ MIDI Controllers and mapping
- Mixing - EQ, Compression, Stereo Imaging, Reverb, Sends/Returns, etc
- Mastering
- Sampling/Samplers - Warping, slicing, etc
- Sound Design and FX
- Music theory/ Improvisational Music theory (I will teach you chords and scales in a way that facilitates music making)
- Synthesis (at all levels) - once you learn the basics of synthesis you'll be able to use most synth plug ins
-VSTs and Plug Ins - Rob Papen Series, Native Instruments Komplete (massive, fm 8, absynth), Waves, Izotope, Brainworx, and pretty much any popular and useful plug in.
- All the native Ableton audio effects, instruments, and midi effects
- Computer management/optimization for faster workflow
- Templates
- And pretty much anything you are looking to learn dealing with music production using Abelton Live (I can also do Logic but prefer not to)

Rates:
$50 an hour, If you prefer us to drive to you its $60 for 1 hour or get 2 hours for $100 with no extra costs. We only take on hard working and enthusiastic students that want to learn and who actually want to work hard on improving this production skills. We have to mention this because we don't have time for students that have big dreams but don't want to work for them. Paying someone to sit with you for an hour or 2 a week to teach you music production will not make you successful. Practicing those techniques your instructor teaches in your weekly lessons with every minute of your off time will. You must have the full version of Abelton Live 8. We dive deep into Abeltons routing, racks and effects and more so if you want to take your music serious you won't limit your self.
2. We prefer mac but I also deal with PC.
3. We can teach you synthesis using any synthesizer but if you have Native Instruments Massive it is the easiest to teach. So if your looking to learn synth design I recommend you get that
4. You have to be driven and willing to push yourself. I will help guide you but only you can say I want learn music production and take my musical career to the next level
