She is currently serving as CA State Senator Sydney Kamlager (Gamma Lambda-USC, Spr. 94, Ace) who is running for the CA-37 seat that Rep. Karen Bass is vacating to run for L.A. Mayor. Soror Kamlager is endorsed by the Congressional Black Caucus, CA Black Dems, Democracy for America, Collective PAC, America PAC, Sigma PAC, etc. She is the front-runner for the seat.

As a Committee member, your minimal roles would be:
1) Promoting the event to your B&W/D9 circles via email and/or social media.
2) Encouraging Sigmas and Zetas to attend the April 30th event and donate $19.14 or $19.20.
