CCCS (Community Collaborative Charter School)

CCCS (Community Collaborative Charter School) TK-12 Independent Study Charter School CCCS strives to create multiple pathways to meet the diverse needs of this unique student population.

Community Collaborative Charter School (CCCS) is a K-12th grade school that uses independent study as part of innovative full-service program dedicated to meeting the needs of the whole child via partnerships with community resource providers. It is the mission of CCCS to provide high-quality curriculum, instructional support, and community and social resources to families and students. CCCS serve

s special populations which include a high percentage of students who are credit-deficient, fifth year seniors, pregnant and parenting teens, emancipated youth, and homeless youth. CCCS is committed to providing access to high-quality education to students by emphasizing standards-based curriculum. Instructors and specialists provide instructional guidance and support, assist in identifying student instructional needs, and provide individualized educational plans. CCCS has a variety of successful labs, tutoring opportunities and small classes to support students to succeed within their independent study. The school was founded in the belief that all students can learn and achieve if the basic needs of students are being met. By facilitating access to district/social/community services and support, CCCS works with students and families to ensure that support systems are in place to meet the unique needs of at-risk-youth. To these ends, CCCS has partnered with organizations like WEAVE, Robertson Community Center, and La Familia Counseling Center. By linking social service organizations and education, CCCS is able to serve students who have been disenfranchised from the traditional school system.

What a great day connecting with our community! ๐ŸŽ‰

We were proud to partner with Sacramento Youth Center and host a table at todayโ€™s Summer Bash event, as well as have a CCCS school resource center right on site. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, learn about our school, and discover the opportunities available for our students and families. Shout out to our current and graduated CCCS Phoenixes who helped talk about our program from their POV.

Together, weโ€™re building brighter futures. Check out www.CCCS-Sacramento.org to enroll in our high school program today!

๐ŸŽ“โœจ From high school hallways to college possibilities, bringing the Gateway Community Charters Portrait of a Graduate to life! Special thanks to UC Davis Center for Student Involvement and Innovate For California for coordinating this opportunity.

Our students explored UC Davis | California's College Town campus life, learned about academic opportunities, and began envisioning what their future could look like beyond graduation.

College visits help students see that higher education isnโ€™t just a dreamโ€”itโ€™s a path they can explore, prepare for, and pursue. Weโ€™re proud of our students for asking questions, stepping outside their comfort zones, and imagining themselves on a college campus!

The future is full of possibilities, and today was one step closer. ๐Ÿด๐Ÿ“šโœจ
