General Motors ASEP at Gateway Community College

Its gonna be a great day when your students bring in your favorite morning beverage, hot chocolate.

Our GM ASEP 2025 national conference in Detroit wrapped up this past Wednesday. CT State at Gateway's very own Amanda Sweeney won the Instructor of Merit award. Professor Sweeney created a math class " geared " towards automotive students. We are very proud of her accomplishments and for her national recognition.

2025 ASEP grads. This was a great group of young techncians who are now ready to repair current and future GM vehicles. Gonna miss these guys.

Our senior class had Lunch with the RSE Gus Carililio yesterday.
The students all had great questions for Gus, who also brought a Hummer SUV for the class to check out.
They even received a demonstration of the " crab walk" feature the E/V truck has. A big thank you to Gus for paying our class a visit.

Fall 2024 is off to an exciting start here at CT State Gateway's G.M. ASEP program.
We recently received two cool donation vehicles.
Here our freshman and senior classes posing with their new T-shirts, also donatinted from the ASEP organization.

It was a large turn out. We got to visit with former and current students at the show.

Exciting day here at CT State Gateway's GM ASEP program. Our very own Dan Fuller has placed in the top four in the country for the US Auto Tech National Championship this year. A film crew is on campus to film the legend in action. The competition and Dan's spotlight documentary will be aired on CBS Sports.
We wish Dan best of luck in the upcoming competition!
