What a way to kick off the 2026–2027 school year! ✏️

Ridge Road was looking extra special this morning as we welcomed our students and staff back for the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

A huge shoutout to Chapels & Confetti for the AMAZING pencil balloon columns! ✏️🎈 They were the perfect addition to our first-day setup and made such a fun backdrop for everyone arriving at school.

We also want to give a special shoutout to our PTA President, Kristina, and Co- VP, Jaimie, who were at school bright and early this morning decorating and welcoming the students back to school! ❤️

The PTA also set up a First Day of School Supply Shop for our staff, filled with classroom essentials donated by our incredible Ridge Road families. Teachers and staff were able to grab a bag and “shop” for supplies they needed to start the year!

To every family who donated supplies: THANK YOU! Your generosity made this possible and helped us start the year by showing our staff just how much Ridge Road families appreciate them.

🎉 AFTER-SCHOOL CLASS REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! 🎉

Registration for Ridge Road PTA’s **Session 1 After-School Classes** is officially open to everyone!

Classes are already filling up quickly, so don’t wait to grab your child’s spot!

🚌 SCHOOL BUS SAFETY REMINDER 🚌

School starts Monday! When you see a school bus with its stop sign extended and lights flashing, you MUST stop — in both directions on most roads.

Our school bus arm camera system (active since April) is enforcing this. Passing a stopped school bus isn’t just dangerous, it will now result in a citation in the mail.

Slow down. Stop for the sign. Protect our kids!

🍎 MEET OUR 2026–2027 RIDGE ROAD TEACHERS! 📚

As we get ready to kick off a brand-new school year, we’re excited to introduce the amazing teachers who will be welcoming our students back to Ridge Road!

From Kindergarten through 5th Grade, along with our wonderful Unified Arts teachers, these are the faces our students will see throughout the school year. ❤️

🛝 Come to our Playground Meet-Up tomorrow from 3:00–5:00 PM! It’s a great opportunity for students to meet and connect with some of the classmates this year before the first day of school!

Ridge Road PTA After-School Program registration opens tomorrow!

Current PTA members will receive an email with the registration link at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow and will have 24 hours of early access. Be on the lookout for that email because classes may fill up quickly!

Registration opens to the entire school community on Monday, August 31, the first day of school.

Registration closes September 8, and classes begin September 14.

📚✏️ A FRESH YEAR DESERVES A FRESH START! 🍎

Our Ridge Road teachers and staff are starting the year stocked and ready!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Ridge Road families and the PTA, we were able to put together supply baskets filled with classroom essentials for our teachers and support staff to kick off the new school year.

From tissues and paper towels to cleaning supplies, pencils, markers and other everyday essentials, these baskets are one small way our Ridge Road community can help our teachers start the year with what they need.

A HUGE thank you to every family who purchased an item from our wish lists or donated to help make this possible. This is what our Ridge Road community is all about: families and the PTA working together to support the people who do so much for our kids. ❤️🤍

And we’re just getting started! We’ll continue updating our PTA wish lists throughout the year so families who would like to help can continue supporting our school.
