I'm excited to be working with Asa Waters Mansion to share a beautifully illustrated story of "The Secret Garden," a whimsical art project and some magical surprises! What a CRAZY year it has been! I am so grateful for The Fitzgerald Community School for putting together this amazing video of this year's art show! Due to COVID, I planned an outdoor show, usingTibetan prayer flags as an inspiration. All year, we created art on individual flags, and planned on flying them in the air- spreading creativity into the world. Wouldn't you know it, COVID restrictions were lifted and a thunderstorm threatened our outdoor exhibit! 🙄 No worries. . . we flew our flags indoors, and are thankful we could all celebrate together!!!

Can I tell you how INCREDIBLY AWESOME our library is?!!! It is so easy to request a book, like this beautifully illustrated children's book "Plume," and the amazing staff will coordinate an easy curb side pick up. THANK YOU, GPL, for all that you are doing to keep us library patrons satisfied with a bounty of books at our fingertips! Check out the adorable "Plume" (the French word for feather) paintings, inspired by our story, by some of my preschool artists!
