Big news for our local SWFL therapy families! 🐴🌾✨

We are thrilled to announce that Grow Through Play Pediatric Therapy is partnering with Peters Academy to launch a brand-new Equine-Assisted Occupational Therapy Program right here in North Fort Myers!
If your child (ages 3+) thrives in outdoor, sensory-rich settings, this 8-week program uses the natural healing power of horses to target real-world OT goals:
✨ Skills We’ll Address:
• Sensory & emotional regulation
• Motor planning, coordination & balance
• Direction-following & body awareness
• Communication, confidence & social connection
Each participant will attend one 30-minute session per week and celebrate their hard work with a Certificate of Completion at the end of the program! 🎓
📋 Program Details:
🗓️ Duration: 8 Weeks (One 30-min session/week)
👧 Ages: 3 and older
📍 Location: Peters Academy (18680 Old Bayshore Rd, North Fort Myers, FL 33917)
💳 Cost: $800 complete program (Step Up For Students accepted!)

Talk about an unforgettable day at Peters Academy! Our amazing friends from Jungle Doria’s Wildlife Park dropped by campus today and brought the ultimate special guests: CAPYBARAS! 🦙🌾
Hands-on animal interactions are at the core of what we do. Experiences like this give our K-12 special needs students a unique, sensory-rich way to build confidence, practice gentle communication, and experience the wonder of God’s creation up close.
The big smiles and quiet, calm moments with these sweet creatures said it all. A massive thank you to Jungle Doria’s Wildlife Park for bringing so much joy to our farm family today!

We are overflowing with gratitude this school year! Our amazing friends at Laces of Love truly outdid themselves by providing a brand-new pair of shoes for every single student at Peter’s Academy! For our kids on the farm, a great pair of shoes means more than just style— it means comfort while running on the playground, confidene while working with the animals, and a tangible reminder that their community loves and supports them. 🌧️☀️ When the sun didn’t shine and the rain made its way… sensory play saved the day! 🫧
Our elementary students enjoyed some hands-on sensory fun with shaving cream! It may have gotten a little messy… okay, maybe a lot messy 😂🤍—but sometimes the messiest activities bring the biggest smiles!

Our students had the opportunity to squish, spread, draw, create, and explore while engaging their senses and having fun together.

At Peter’s Academy, a rainy day doesn’t have to stop the fun—sometimes it just means getting a little messy! 🌧️🫧💕
