January 2016 was the first time I sat down with a student and a bunch of letter tiles. It's been ten years of learning, spelling, reading and cheering for my students.
From one student, to many; from a few letter tiles to a literacy movement, I am so grateful and excited for my calling.
Here's to every brave learner I've had the honor to teach.
You've made me a better teacher.
Moving forward, I remain committed to my team and my students and to helping them become the victorious reader they were each created to be.
