I have accepted a position at Washington Middle School in Washington teaching 8th grade ELA. I've thoroughly enjoyed the past two years teaching FCS at English Valleys. The time I've spent with the students at EV are some of the most precious of my life.

Today, 3 of my FCCLA kids (Daige, Lydia, and Phoenix) and I took May baskets to the care center in North English. The baskets were a great hit with the residents!

Foods class was tasked with preparing a nutritious breakfast. Tessa, Christy, and Olivia prepared smoothie bowls. Ben, Garin, and Cael cooked healthy breakfast burritos. A great job by all!! The breakfast was delicious!

Eight graders learning about a monthly budget and real-life expenses at the Financial Literacy Fair in Williamsburg last Tuesday. A fun learning experience was had by all!

This week my Foods and Culinary Essentials classes have been making cupcakes for the Cupcake Wars - Spring Edition.
The results were amazing! I have a lot of talented bakers in my midst. I'm proud of them all!

Zola and Victoria are next to their beautifullly assembled fruit charcuterie boards for the parent teacher conferences meal tonight. They created unique works of art in the FCS kitchens! So proud of them both!
