Fiddle lessons for women interested in a safe, supportive environment to learn and practice traditional fiddle tunes, folk songs and ethnic melodies. Guided by Erika Ludwig, the Fiddling Femmes have become the heart of a traditional musical community growing in the greater southern Berkshire County (MA) area.

Fiddling Femmes - traditional fiddle lessons for contemporary women
At Berkshire Strings Studio in North Egremont, MA, a series of classes offered just for women interested in developing their musical skills and traditional fiddle repertoire.
Are you a woman desiring a safe, supportive environment to learn and practice traditional fiddle tunes, folk songs and melodies from around the world? Join one of the classes taught by Erika Ludwig and become a member of the Fiddling Femmes. These women share the joy of making music together, offer resources and information to one another, and support the local music scene, attending jams and performances of our favorite players. They are the heart of the Berkshire Strings program which offers private lessons to men and women and children and hosts a summer session and workshops by traveling musicians.
