In an all-new innovation to its annual production tour, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW will host an outdoor appraisal event! A first-time stop in Newport, RI, on Tuesday, September 19, will take ROADSHOW cameras to the grounds of historic Rosecliff mansion in search of America’s hidden treasures. ANTIQUES ROADSHOW, WGBH and Rhode Island PBS will host an all-day appraisal festival, resulting in a new look for select episodes of Season 22.
To successfully run the appraisal event, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW relies on 125 local volunteers (18+ years of age) at each site. Volunteers are assigned various tasks, including crowd control, welcoming guests, production assistance, and more. Specific assignments are given to volunteers by the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW production staff. Volunteers must expect to be on their feet for the entire duration of their 12-hour shift.
Mandatory Training Session: Monday, September 18 from 4-6pm
Appraisal Event: Tuesday, September 19 from 6am-7:30pm
