Educators empower students to achieve success by teaching responsibility and holding them accountable for their behavior and learning. Providing students with a variety of extra-curricular and service learning activities gives them an opportunity for personal growth and excellence. Life-long learning is an essential component for success in a rapidly changing world. It is the responsibility of the educator to provide meaningful instruction through the development of rigorous challenges. A safe and secure environment is the right and responsibility of all members of the Rising Sun community. Engaging education results in intellectual, emotional, physical and social development.

The first day of school is hours away! When dropping students off in the morning we ask that you please follow the student drop off loop to keep things moving, and more importantly students, staff and drivers safe!

1. Please follow the student drop off line to the far right of the parking lot.

2. Students may be let out of the car as soon as the sidewalk starts (closest to the stadium). They do not need to stay in the car until they reach the end of the sidewalk by the bus loop. This will keep the line moving smoothly.

3. Please DO NOT enter the staff and student parking lot in front of the building, or the bus loop!
