What is our Apple Ballot recommendation process?
After the filing deadline, all candidates receive a questionnaire and invitation to participate in our interview and recommendation process. In order to be considered for recommendation, candidates must complete the questionnaire and participate in an interview with our Candidate Interview and Endorsement Committee members who volunteer from schools across CCPS. Questionnaire and interview questions are focused on public education support, funding, policy, working conditions, and factors affecting students and the community. Candidates on the Apple Ballot have participated in our interview process and have been voted for recommendation by members of the Election Committee, CCCTA Executive Board, and CCCTA Representative Assembly.
