With getting a decent amount of new followers, I felt it was a good time to reintroduce everyone to the woman behind the paintbrush!
My name is Sarah Meehl! I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Kyle, for 12 years now and have two amazing boys! Benjamin is our oldest and I can definitely see my artistic skills in him. Anthony is our youngest and he is my husband’s mini-me. But I can see a bit of creativity shining through! Haha!
People ask how I got started painting… my simple answer is that I have always been a creative person and that it is my therapy. If I went into more detail I would probably end up crying each time.
The more in depth answer… I originally started Sarah’s Craft Boutique in 2020 as my sort of therapy after our son Carter was born sleeping. So to help keep my mind busy during those quiet times, I leaned into my creativity. It started with creating different things with my Cricut and tumblers. You name it, I was looking into how to make it. Then one day I decided I wanted to paint this pumpkin canvas I found and from there I found my niche and what made my heart happier. I have now been teaching in person paint classes for 2 1/2 years and added permanent jewelry as another service 1 year ago.
I want to thank everyone that have taken the time to support me by coming to a class, coming out to a pop-up event, helping me with a class (*cough, cough* thank you mom!), buying something at a craft show or simply sitting with me to keep me company at a craft show! I truly appreciate each of you for supporting my small business!
