In collaboration with New Hampshire 4-H and the University of New Hampshire, WMSI is hosting the Seacoast SeaPerch Teacher Workshop!

Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 9am-4pm
White Mountain Science, Inc., 23 Ammonoosuc Street, Littleton, NH

This one day training program is open to educators, 4-H leaders, afterschool providers, community partners or others interested in coaching a SeaPerch club or team.

Participants will work in pairs to build a Seaperch from a kit. During breaks we will discuss the Seacoast Seaperch Challenge and different ways to present Seaperch to your learners.

Build materials and lunch will be provided. Cost for the workshop is $25, CEU Credit Certificate will be provided.

4-H Day of Flying
August 8, 2026 | 9:00am - 2:00pm

(Register by THIS FRIDAY July 31st)

For: Ages 10 and up with a parent or guardian, youth 12 and older may attend on their own if desired. Youth must be enrolled in 4-H.

Where: The Sandwich Fairgrounds

Join us for a day of flying where each youth and parent/guardian will build their own balsa and tissue rubber band powered airplane. Participants should have a little bit of patience, and some basic crafting or tinkering skills such as measuring, cutting and gluing. There will be limited exposure to hobby knives and technical adhesives. The day will end with a flight session and some friendly competition. Bring your own lunch. There will be breaks for lunch during the day, to fly some model planes and see a demonstration of more advanced planes.

Join 4-H horse members from around the state at the NH 4-H State Horse Show at the Deerfield Fairgrounds. This weekend event is open to the public as spectators.
