We’re so excited to expand our TimberNook program for school-age children! 🌲✨

Our new afternoon program is designed for children ages 5–12 and is a wonderful option for homeschool students and children who have half days during the school year.

At TimberNook, kids have the opportunity to learn, explore, create, and connect through meaningful outdoor experiences and play. 🍃🪵

🌲 We are looking for a part time teacher to add to our growing program. This position is up to 25 hours per week. You will be working with children ranging from ages 2-12 years old in our forest classroom for our TimberNook programs.

Through their personal knowledge, experience, and passion for play-based learning, teachers connect with colleagues, parents/caregivers and the community to share the values that guide decisions about early childhood education.

We advocate for play-based learning because we know through research that play allows young children to connect with and make sense of their world. Play is the work of the child. Through play, children develop essential skills such as collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creative innovation. Play builds confidence and also supports social-emotional development.
