Good morning,

We have started our fall sessions everyone!!

Monday’s and Tuesday’s-10am-11am & 1:30pm-2:30pm or Wednesday’s 10am-11am

Come join Ms. Mari and I as we discuss the importance of education for children under the age of 3.

Our goal is to help children prepare to participate in North Chicago preschool and connect parents with others.

Sept 2nd birth to three will be hosting their very own open house. We are excited to welcome new families and our returning families.

As the school year had ended, we would like to thank all the families that attended our playgroup this school year. We had so much fun, learned so much about each other and ready to continue next school year.

We will also like to thank Clemencia for the wonderful time she has been with us as she get ready for retirement.

We will enjoy the summer with some field trips and then see you all in the fall

Last weeks playgroup was successful. We did dress up and decorated eggs and a bunny for our craft

This week was all about free art.

We put a white sheet of paper on the table, gave the kids markers to draw and learn how to hold the marker properly and discuss what they were drawing.

We did a paint activity with shapes. We asked questions during the activity; what shape are you using.? what color is the shape.? and we identified the color paint to see if it matches the shapes as well.

Also, had a sensory project. Using baking soda, vinegar, food coloring, and droppers. Place baking soda at the bottom of a pan, drop some food coloring on top, the sprinkle some more baking soda on top, then let them use the dropping to squeeze vinegar on the baking soda and watch it fizz up.

Our last group before spring break. We did a coin scavenger hunt and made a rainbow out of baking soda, vinegar, and food coloring.

We had fun this week making music instruments and playing with balloons. Using our gross and fine motor skills.
