Behind every thriving child is a team of dedicated, trained educators. 🌟 We are constantly growing to give our little ones the best start.

For our first PDD of this year, we were fortunate to welcome Donna Gorman from Abloom Development to lead a workshop on Sensory Integration in our classrooms. We also had opportunities to bond as a team and focus on our individual classroom environments!

Warm wishes for a joyful holiday season from ACDL! This year, we celebrated by highlighting diversity within our community through our Tradition Share Week, where families volunteered to showcase their unique traditions to our children. We also partnered with our local DCF and our staff and families fulfilled 17 wishlists for children in foster care. Lastly, we concluded the week with a Winter Wonderland event, where children, staff, and families shared crafts, gifts, and stories by the fire with our snowmen.

As we reflect on this wonderful season, we are grateful for our families' continued support and the joy that our children bring to our community. We look forward to more moments of connection and celebration in the coming year!

Happy Thanksgiving from ACDL to you! November has been a busy yet exciting month at ACDL. Here are some great highlights:

Book Week: Children celebrated their love of reading by role-playing and exploring new, exciting titles. It was a pleasure to welcome back PaperPie to our center for our second annual book fair.

Food Drive: As we focused on family and thankfulness this month, we took the opportunity to model kindness and generosity. As a community, we collected and donated 120 non-perishable items to our local food bank!

We were thrilled to conclude the week on a high note by celebrating culture and diversity through our staff potluck! This event was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together, share delicious dishes from various backgrounds, and experience the rich tapestry of flavors and traditions that our team represents.

A Spook-tacular time with ACDL families and friends! 🎃👻

This morning, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Circle of Life Drumming and Dance to our center! Our kiddos had the opportunity to participate in a drum and instrument circle, engage in expressive dance and enjoy playful rhythm games and group activities designed to promote connection and self-expression. What a fun experience it was!

One of our long-term office assistants is preparing to move on to Kindergarten in the next few weeks and wanted one last photo with her office mates!

Bittersweet moment seeing some of our Pre-K kiddos transition to kindergarten this fall. Small caps, big accomplishments! Congrats, Class of 2025!
