Congratulations to this week's, "Unsung Educator of the Week", Heather Inman, 10th Grade English Teacher at R.B. Stall High School.
"Heather Inman is an educator who exemplifies the belief that "Students are the Heart of Our Work" and she demonstrates key characteristics and actions that show deep commitment to her students' well-being and success. She exhibits empathy by always considering students’ unique backgrounds and needs, especially when working with multilingual students. She goes the extra mile to ensure that language barriers are minimized, making learning more accessible and providing encouragement to boost students' confidence.
Her actions foster an inclusive environment both in the classroom and on the volleyball court, where every student feels valued and understood. She prioritizes mental health by checking in with students regularly, offering support, and encouraging healthy coping strategies during stressful periods, such as during tough practices or academic challenges. She has a caring nature, and coupled with a focus on students’ holistic development—academically, emotionally, and physically—helps build trust and rapport, making students feel at the center of her work.
By merging her passion for coaching and teaching with a genuine interest in each student's personal growth, she reinforces the idea that her student's success and well-being are the core of everything she does." -- nominated by a colleague
And that’s a wrap! The Lady Warriors Volleyball team wrapped up their season tonight and we couldn’t be more proud of this team! Thank you to all the people that showed support to them this year and we can’t wait for the team’s future! 🏐🩵🪓
