Get a head start on back-to-school shopping! Our 2026–2027 school supply lists are now available. Check the list for your child's grade level and help them start the school year prepared for success.

🍎 Charleston County School District, Charleston County Public Library, and Lowcountry Food Bank are teaming up to provide free meals for children and teens ages 5–18 at participating library branches across Charleston County this summer. Stop by for a meal, grab a book, and enjoy all the fun your local library has to offer!

☀️ Happy First Week of Summer! ☀️

Amid all the fun, adventures, and relaxation you have planned this summer, don't forget about your student's summer learning assignments!

📚 Reading: Students were sent home with books before the end of the school year. Please encourage your child to read regularly and complete any assigned reading activities. Their assignments will be due when students return in August.

➕ Math Practice: Students also received math practice to help keep their math facts and problem-solving strategies sharp throughout the summer.

A little learning each day can make a big difference when school starts back!

Let’s hear it for our birthday crew! Wishing the happiest of birthdays to our amazing staff celebrating their birthdays this month! 🎂🎉🎈

As we close out the spring testing season, we can’t forget to recognize all the hard work from our 3rd–5th grade students. Our annual SC Ready Test Prep Olympics has officially come to an end for the year!

🏅 Honduras (Ms. Power’s homeroom) took home the gold medal.
🥈 Brazil (Ms. LaRoche’s homeroom) took home the silver medal.
🥉 Zimbabwe (Ms. Miller’s homeroom) took home the bronze medal.

Congratulations to all of our classes for their hard work, determination, and effort throughout testing season!

Last week, the students who purchased yearbooks enjoyed an ice cream sundae celebration and time to mingle, laugh, and share memories with their peers. Students had the opportunity to sign each other’s yearbooks, creating everlasting memories they can cherish for years to come.
