What: MANDATORY Parent Meeting
When: Tuesday, April 5th at 6:30pm, in-person
Where: Fort Dorchester HS
Why: For every 50 parents in attendance, the band will receive $250 toward the band, plus $5.00 per additional parent - this will count toward Students MFS Dues.

CALLING ON ALL BAND PARENTS AND FRIENDS:
March 26th the Band will be having a Spaghetti Fundraiser Event, with performances by the Chamber Ensembles, Bake Sale and Silent Auction Table. We need
1. Items donated for the silent auction (restaurant gift cards, gift baskets, items from a small, personal business such as Avon, Thirty-one Bags, Pampered Chef, etc.
2. Monetary donation so the Booster Club can purchase items for the silent auction.
3. Baked Goods for the bake sale
All items donated for the silent auction will receive a tax receipt from the Band Boosters for a tax write off, and we will ADVERTISE your business at the event and on social media.

What a great finale for the band this year! Had a great time watching Fort Dorchester, Ashley Ridge and Summerville perform their individual shows, and then join together for an amazing collaboration of God Bless America! Here are all of the DD2 students performing together! Great job to everyone!

Fort Dorchester defeated Ashley Ridge tonight! The Patriots are on the road the next two weeks - at Goose Creek and Stall- the next home game is against West Ashley High School on Oct. 22nd, which is also Senior Night!

Soon the pallets will be unrecognizable as they are transformed to giant moving Christmas presents/platforms with vinyl wrap applied by FDHS Art Departments and built by FDHS Band Booster Club’s Pit Crew.
Look for them during the FDHS Football halftime shows as our performance progresses throughout the season!

A FREE CAR WASH? You guessed it. From 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at a variety of of sites - Zaxby's, Crab Shack, Raising Canes, Chilis and Gold's Gym. We need lots of extra help (see cuttime.com). Rehearsal at 4:30-6:45 p.m. Thursday. Game versus Wando on Friday at the Fort.

We had a concerned effort out on this the field this Tuesday with marching, in advance of Friday's game against Dorman. And don't forget about for the Car Wash on Sept. 11 (off week for football) and the SaveAround Coupon Book that ends Sept. 17.
THE CAR WASH IS BACK! This is a favorite fundraiser of many of our students on Sept. 11 from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Students work hard and have a lot of fun, while raising money for the band and for their MyFairShare. Open the attachments for full details AND a pledge sheet. Get penny pledges or a flat donation.
The kids will be signing up for their locations very soon (not all locations are confirmed yet). All band students are expected to participate by working at a car wash location.
