I am so excited to meet my Reading Partner student for the first time today at Pepperhill Elementary School! Things are changing for the better for the program. For instance, here is a video that I received to prepare me for how to the lesson to day for my Comprehensive Reader, explaining how to go through the lesson plan for my child. There is a different video for each of the levels: Emerging Readers, Beginning Readers and Comprehensive Readers. You will find these on the Reading Partners South Carolina website, if you have received it yet.

As we are anticipating the start of a new school year, the Reading With Realtors Committee looks forward to continuing our partnership with ReadingPartners.org.

In an effort to increase our awareness, engagement and participation from our members and volunteers, we will be streamlining our outreach and communication.

Last Tutor Day this school year! Our 4th graders at Pepperhill ES had a close out party! Food, fun, gifts and a bag of books for summer reading, oh my! These kids have made so much progress this year, thanks to all of the tutors with Reading Partners including our own Reading with Realtors volunteers. Happy Summer, see you next year!
