We had a blast celebrating our students who showed growth in both Math and ELA on their MAP tests from Winter to Spring! Their hard work, focus, and determination truly paid off, and our celebration was all about recognizing their achievement. ππ
From high-energy line dancing to exciting basketball games, and even a hotdog cookout, the event was packed with fun, celebration, and school spirit. πππ

What an amazing day at River Oaks! Our 8th graders got a real-life taste of adulthood during Reality Town, and they totally rocked it! From budgeting for groceries to managing housing and transportation costs, our students took on their grown-up roles like pros!
A HUGE thank you to all of our incredible volunteers, teachers, staff, and community partners who made this event possible. We couldn't have done it without your time, energy, and support! π

Bobcats! April is the Month of the Military Child, and next week we will celebrate Military Child Appreciation Week. Students are invited to join in the fun by participating in our spirit days throughout the week. We will also continue our daily military trivia, and students can submit their answers via Schoology for a chance to win a prize!
The Month of the Military Child is dedicated to:

Big congratulations to the winners of the ROMS Step Challenge! The challenge kicked off on March 3rd and wrapped up yesterday, April 3rd. π
A huge shoutout to Mr. Morgan, who crushed the competition with an impressive 350,000+ steps! π Taking 2nd place was Ms. Kumer with over 320,000 steps, and Ms. Annese secured 3rd with more than 300,000 steps! π
Each of our winners earned a special prize from the Health and Wellness team! Keep up the amazing work and stay active, everyone! πͺ
