Garrett Academy of Technology Alumni Garrett HS closed in June of 1993 while they built tech classes. The school soon reopened in 1994 as Gordon H. Garrett Academy of Technology.

Garrett HS closed in June of 1993 and remained closed while they built all the tech classes (if you look at an aerial view of the building you can see the ARC and the front of the building that's all new - not new now but new in 1994). School reopened in 1994 at Gordon H Garrett Academy of Technology. The first principal was David Baldia - he was principal for 2.5 years. Then Patricia Edwards beca

me principal (she started at the school as a VP). She remained principal until 2003 or 04 then David Parsons became principal. He also started out at G*T as VP. He remained principal until 2011. Then Dan Conner was interim 2011/12 now Charity Summers from 2012 to present.

Good Morning!!! The first Alumni Meet and Greet will be on tonight, Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Arias Lounge beginning at 6 pm. There will be happy hour drink specials, seafood and much more. Come out and enjoy other Garrett Academy Alumni. Spread the word to other alumni who doesn't follow this page or use the event page to invite them. We will announce our next event at the Meet and Greet.

Arias Lounge is located at 3640 Dorchester Rd, North Charleston, SC 29405. It is connected to the Clarion hotel next to the I-26 ramp off Dorchester Rd.
