Congratulations to these teacher members of the SOA PTSA! Each applied for a mini-grant to provide valuable software (DESMOS), laboratory supplies, a 3D printer, Spanish books, healthy student snacks, a guest speaker, and field trip money for the International African American Museum!
To apply for a mini-grant, a teacher just has to be a member of the SOA PTSA, and use our simple application process to request funds for a variety of educational uses! We also look forward to photos and updates on how the funds get to be used by the students.
Thank you to all of the SOA PTSA members for making this possible through your membership each year.
We're BACK! Hope you missed us!
We're so excited to now be getting into full-swing with the new school year! If you have not yet had a chance to officially join the SOA PTSA, we hope you will do so now. FAMILY memberships are $50 for the year, and FACULTY memberships are only $5! (Plus, to be eligible for scholarships or mini-grants, membership is required.)
It will NOT commit you to having to come serve drinks or sell merch, but we absolutely do welcome volunteers to help when we have events for the students or teachers.
