Berkeley Middle College Titans

Berkeley Middle College Titans Berkeley Middle College High School (BMC) is a partnership between BCSD and Trident Technical College.

After applying during sophomore year, students attend BMC for eleventh and twelfth grade. We provide a personalized smaller learning community for students who want to accelerate toward fulfillment of their career plans in a non-traditional environment. Located on the Berkeley Campus of Trident Technical College, our middle college magnet high school can serve up to 50 juniors and 50-60 seniors fr

om the district’s seven comprehensive high schools. The partnership blends high school and college courses to provide students with rigorous academics, guidance and support, career information, access to technology, community mentors, and other resources essential for student success. Our broad goals for the middle college high school, approved by the State Board of Education as a stand-alone diploma granting school, are to create a more pervasive college-going culture through:

•Increasing high school graduation rates and reducing dropout rates by providing a school-wide support system and an individualized academic plan that challenges each student to succeed;
•Improving academic performance by providing a non-traditional high school structure and environment which allows student access to greater educational opportunities; and
• Increasing collegiate access by providing a seamless transition from high school to college. Students a who choose the Middle College make a commitment to attend for the entire school year.

Senior Picture Day is Thursday, July 30, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

To help keep the day organized and minimize wait times, please arrive during the time slot that corresponds with the first letter of your last name.

8:00–9:00 a.m. – Alston–Dephouse
9:00–10:00 a.m. – Driskell–Guo
10:00–11:00 a.m. – Harrison–Lowther
11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. – Marion–Overholser
12:00–1:00 p.m. – Parker–Singletary
1:00–2:00 p.m. – Singletary–Young

If you are unable to attend during your assigned time, you are welcome to come during another time slot; however, please be aware that your wait time may be longer.

Photo Session Information:
• Formal Photo: Formal attire will be provided, so there is no need to bring your own.
• Casual Photo: Wear your favorite outfit. Please plan for a full-body photo, just in case.
