Parents this is a reminder that the last day of school for students is Monday, June 10th and it is a half day the students get out at 10:25!
Kona Ice will be here tomorrow!
Overdue and lost books. Families we still have over 150 lost or overdue books. On Monday I will send home the overdue notices along with the fines/amounts for the missing books. Please take time this weekend to search your house for books that aren't yours. Have your student return any A. C. Corcoran books or any other CCSD library books that you may find. Books fines/costs need to be paid before report cards go home. Thank you so much for your help with this.
Monday is Memorial Day, there is no school for students.
Friday, May 24th is an early release day. The students will get out of school at 12:25.

Either Kona Ice Charleston or Tikiz Ice will be here for your student to purchase each day. This will be two fun-filled days for our students!
Hello our wonderful parents, this is Mrs. Zurawski from A. C. Corcoran's library. Overdue, lost, and/or damaged library book notices will go home with your student this week. Please help your student look for the book at home. If they find the book just have them return it to the library. There are over 300 late, or missing books. Thank you for your help.

The last day to order Field Day t-shirts will be April 9th.
Half Day is this Friday. Students will get out of school at 10:25.
Spring break is April 1-5. There is also no school for students on April 8th, it is a teacher work day. Students return on April 9th.
Come and support our school steppers, this Thursday ar Burke High School. The time is 6:00 pm. We hope to see you there!

Charleston County Emergency Management Agency donated book bags, school supplies, and stuffed animals to our students. Thank you so much for your support of our students.
The Scholastic Book Fair is Coming!
Our April Scholastic Book Fair will be running from February 20-28. It will be in the library and will only be open during school hours. Your students will be able to shop during their library time and at certain times assigned to them. Come out and see the new books that we have to offer.
We would like to give a shout-out to all of the school counselors. We appreciate you!
We are doing a Perfect Attendance incentive at A. C. Corcoran. Each class that has perfect attendance, will get a letter. Those letters spell out a word. The first class to spell out that week's words gets a shout-out and a class celebration. Congratulations to Ms. Dodd's class for being the first homeroom to spell out FUN. Her class will receive a class celebration. Who will win next week?
Class picture day is February 12, 2024. This will be a class/group picture only and there will be no make-up picture day. The cost for the picture is $10.00
