NCCAE Alum! We are so proud of you!

Last week, our CD students had the opportunity to visit the Children’s Museum, and they had a wonderful time! The children were able to experience many exciting activities throughout the museum. They enjoyed spending time in the arts and crafts room, visiting the sensory room, learning about magnets, and building with Legos.

The students also put on puppet shows, worked as news anchors and camera men and women, and explored real-world experiences by working in the Publix area and the workshop, where they built cars and participated in woodworking and STEM activities.

The children truly enjoyed exploring the museum and learning through hands-on experiences. It was a fun and memorable trip for everyone!

Our final House meeting of the year will take place tomorrow May 22! Let’s see that house pride!! We can’t wait to celebrate together tomorrow!

This morning we drew names for our “Best Effort Incentive” to recognize our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students for all of the hard work they put in on the SC Ready tests! Prizes included electric scooters, gift cards and board games. After the big prizes were given out students learned that ALL students would be receiving something from the prize cart!! Thank you to NCCAE PTA for funding this incentive and helping to promote a positive testing environment!!

✨ Tonight was truly magical! The cast of SHREK the Musical was absolutely AMAZING! 🎭 A huge shoutout to all the talented students for bringing this incredible story to life! And a big thank you to our fantastic Academic Arts Teachers for their unwavering support in making this performance a reality! 👏💚
