And of course, you can’t have a game show without a host!

Enter DJA’s very own in-house Trivia Host, MC & DJ, who also happens to be our Digital Content Creator and Student Concern Specialist, Mr. Hawkins! 🎤😂

Staff battled it out Jeopardy-style, testing their knowledge of DJA procedures, expectations, student supports, restorative practices, and everything in between.

At DJA, professional learning doesn’t always have to look like sitting through a presentation. Sometimes you have to turn up the music, grab the buzzer, and make learning a MAIN EVENT! 🎤🏆

Who says PE is only about working your arms and legs?

During lunch, our PE Coach took some time to sit down with one of our students for a game of chess because sometimes the most important muscle you can exercise is your brain! 🧠♟️

A special shoutout to Coach for taking time out of his lunch to connect with our students. Moments like these may seem small, but building relationships outside of the classroom can make a BIG difference.
