Hursey πSpring π Pictures Wednesday 4/23/25
πΈ FYI Spring pictures are only taken for students that have paid for a picture (families can pay online or send cash for the picture to hand the photographer on the day pictures are taken). If you paid online, either mark that on the Strawbridge envelope or send a note in the student's folder stating that a picture was paid for online for them. The same with cash money sent for the photoβplease send it in the Strawbridge envelope and mark it appropriately for the amount and package or send it with a note saying how much money there is and what package you are paying for. Either way teachers will know which students to send down by either the guardian's note or Strawbridge envelope on Picture Day. Students can take pictures with siblings for this picture day!

CCSD CLOSED: Wednesday, March 5
After careful consideration and in consultation with partner agencies, Charleston County School District has made the difficult decision to cancel school on Wednesday, March 5 due to the approaching storm system.
Kaleidoscope, extracurricular activities, and all after-school programs scheduled for tomorrow are canceled. Additionally, staff are expected to work remotely.
According to the National Weather Service in Charleston, severe weather is expected, with wind gusts predicted to exceed 45 mph. These conditions would create hazardous travel situations, particularly for school buses. While we understand the challenges that a school closure presents for families, the safety of our students and staff is always our top priority.
The designated weather make-up day will be Monday, April 21.
For more information, please join us for a Facebook Live discussion at 7:00 PM this evening.
Thank you for your understanding, and please stay safe.
