At Hunley Park, we will work together as a team to achieve a safe, personalized learning environment Our building was renovated in 2003/2004.
Hunley Park is a Personalized Learning school and serves about 540 students from 4 years old up to 5th grade. Hunley Park Elementary has been educating our students since 1972. A Kindergarten wing, Library and Gym were added during this renovation.

Today, we are celebrating National Paraprofessional Appreciation Day! HPES would like to honor our instructional assistants for the tremendous contributions they make to our school community. Please take a moment to thank our wonderful paraprofessionals when you see them on campus! 🥰
MAP, or the Measure of Academic Progress, is a computerized adaptive test that helps teachers, parents, and administrators improve learning for all students and make informed decisions to promote a child's academic growth.
These tests are important assessments and we hope you help us encourage your children to do their best by ensuring they get plenty of rest and they try very hard even when it seems tiresome. We count on you to share this message with your children!

Month of the Military Child - Dress-Up Days 💜
On Tuesday, April 5th, please have your child wear camouflage/military clothes. This small gesture of appreciation is important to celebrate the sacrifices of our military children. Thank you for your support! :)
Does attendance matter? Absolutely! However, if you think that your child is sick, please keep him or her home from school. Upon your student's return, don't forget to provide a doctor's excuse or parent note. Thank you for supporting your child's education! 🙏

The South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS) Child and Adult Care Food Program recognizes March 15 through March 21 as the CACFP Week. Thus, HPES is thrilled to celebrate our cafeteria staff for their assistance with our healthy and nutritious meals and the supper program. We could never take for granted the hard work that our cafeteria staff does. Thank you!
