It was a beautiful day for the recent groundbreaking of the new Saluda Elementary School in South Carolina. SSOE’s Tim Williams was joined by our partners at Red Iron Architects to commence construction on a new chapter of education excellence for the community.
The school, which enrolls 100% economically disadvantaged students, will feature increased security, upgraded technology, and a new assembly space for 1,000+ young scholars upon project completion in two years. This $40 million facelift serves as an investment toward innovative learning and community engagement for this tight-knit community.

Red Iron Architects is thrilled to be a part of the Park Circle Community Center that is projected to open this Fall! 🎉
With the help of Robbins Construction Group and our fellow consultants at HLA, Inc. and DWG, Inc. Consulting Engineers, this new recreational complex will include an art studio 🎨, classrooms ✏️, a large meeting room for events 📅, a catering kitchen 🍴, and a reception area 📞. The facilities surrounding the building include the world’s largest inclusive playground, a new ball field, an open-air shelter that can be used as a platform stage, and a sheltered Farmer’s Market for local vendors.
