5th Grade Pinehurst Parents,

We are excited to invite you to celebrate a very special milestone—your child is now a published author!

Our Fifth Grade Time Capsule Book is a collection of student dreams, memories, gratitude, and letters to their future selves, capturing this special moment in their journey.

On Wednesday, May 27th, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM, Pinehurst Elementary School will host a book signing event.

Space is limited, so 5th-grade parents only must reserve a spot by May 26, 2026.

Look at this wonderful Carta bus!!! This bus celebrates one of Pinehurst’s own, Akai King, a 1st grade student in Ms. Sane and Ms. McClure’s class. Make sure you look for this special bus when driving around Charleston!!

📣 **Calling All Schools & Parents!**

First Class Family Care is hosting a **FREE Youth Life Skills Workshop** for youth ages **7–18**, and we’re asking our local schools to help us share this opportunity with students and families!

📅 **Date:** May 16, 2026
⏰ **Time:** 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 **Location:** Dorchester Road Library – North Charleston, SC

This workshop is designed to **prepare and equip our youth for real life** through hands-on learning led by professionals in the community.

Youth will learn about:
✔ Financial Literacy & Money Management
✔ Digital Safety & Internet Responsibility
✔ Home Economics & Everyday Living Skills
✔ Fire Safety, CPR & First Aid
✔ Health, Fitness & Nutrition
✔ Career Exploration
