Here at Eagle Nest, our SPED Team RISES to Take FLIGHT each and every day and today along with our DD2 family, we celebrated our SPED Team during DD2'S first-ever DD2 Special Education Staff Appreciation Day! 💙 !

This collaboration between the DD2 Office of Special Services and the DD2 Special Services Parent Liaison (SSPL) Group highlights and supports our incredible Special Services staff.

We are excited to have our first Eaglet Storytime of the year! This story time is for families who have toddlers at home that will attend Eagle Nest one day. We will read a story, do a craft, and enjoy a snack. Families will end the story time by checking out a book from our media center. We will also have resources available for parents to use at home with their little one.

Storytime is this Wednesday from 1:00pm - 1:30pm

This Friday is KOOL KATZ!!

Kool Katz is coming this Friday 11/17! We’re keeping it cool on the last day before Thanksgiving break with our favorite, Kool katz italian ice. Classroom teachers are accepting orders all week, $5 each.

Tomorrow we are celebrating World Kindness Day!!

I missed breakfast this morning so I lowered my bucket for Mrs. Anderson’s class. They brought goldfish and gummy snacks!

Our first visitors! Mrs. Hood’s class and Ms. Trudgeon’s class brought us candy corn!

Tomorrow is Tie Dye Tuesday! Wear your PTA tie dye shirt or something tie dye!

November’s “Dads on Duty” started with a chilly morning but ended with a warm and welcoming game of BINGO! Both students and dad were all smiles! Be sure to join us next month where we’ll be making a craft just in time for the holiday!

Eagle Nest had their Character Book Parade on Tuesday! What a fun tradition to start!

Our Annual Trunk or Treat and Haunted Hallway was a HUGE hit this year! Music, Prizes, Haunted Hallway, Pizza, Candy....and MORE Candy! We hope all of our eagles and their families had as much fun as we did!

Check out the wonderful art that our Kindergarten through 5th grade students have completed!
