Cooper River Center for Advanced Studies

Cooper River Center for Advanced Studies inducted 15 members into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) last night. The Vision of the National Technical Honor Society is to be the international leader in providing recognition for excellence in career and technical education. We are so proud of our growing chapter and wish them continued success!

Students in Mr. Kempinger's Mechatronics class are learning how to install electronic circuits for home installations. The students are doing a great job learning new skills.

Several teachers at Cooper River CAS were recognized for the "I Have a Heart" program sponsored by Truth and Fellowship Church. Dr. Ashley Gilmore who serves as MPAC CDC Outreach Director came and presented Dr. Henderson, Mr. Kempinger, Mr. Mincey, and Officer Wright with baskets. We are thankful for our teachers and the care that they give to our students.

Students in PLTW - Project Lead The Way Engineering classes are building bridges and dressing professionally - way to go Mr. Davis and Mr. Williams.

Health Science Students from Mrs. Bratton's class are practicing their first aid skills. They did a fantastic job simulating real-life accidents.

Mr. Williams PLTW Engineering Students are working on building a revit shed. Students first had to draw their design then build it. Nicely done!
