Cooper River Center for Advanced Studies

Last week, we had the pleasure of touring the Cooper River Center for Advanced Studies and seeing firsthand how they are preparing students for the workforce through hands on learning and real world experience.

From carpentry and electrical work to framing and even installing Benjamin Obdyke Inc. - Roof & Wall Products HydroGap housewrap from Southern Lumber and Millwork, these students are gaining valuable industry skills before graduation while earning certifications and exposure to real world environments along the way.

It was inspiring to see the passion from both the students and teachers as they invest in the future of the trades here in the Lowcountry. We look forward to continuing to support their initiatives and helping expose the next generation to rewarding careers in our industry.
