IFR6 Accelerated Instrument Training

Newly minted commercial pilot alert!! ✈️

Huge thank you to Mr. Ralph Aviles for choosing COM3 for his recent commercial rating. Mr. Aviles came up the coastline from Florida to join us here in Charleston, SC. He was a personal referral of one of our beloved alumni who went through our IFR6 and COM3 course. Mr. Aviles took his friends advice and was paired up with our “King Com” CFI, Mr. Barry Goodwin. These two ingested the information one day at a time and Ralph walked away as a commercial pilot! Thank you for your business and congratulations! 🍾

We have another fly guy in the house!! Mr. Keaton Wood recently traveled from California to partake in our accelerated instrument program. Mr. Wood was paired up with our fun loving CFI, Mr. Frank Arza. These two were able to put in the work all week and came out from the checkride all smiles.....PASS! Way to go you two and thank you for choosing IFR6 to earn your instrument rating!

We have been some busy birds around here lately! Several flight students have encountered our program over the past few weeks and we will be sending out success stories here shortly.

We'd like to start off by congratulating Mr. Lane for recently completing his IFR rating through us. Mr. Lane traveled all the way from the west coast of California to embark on his training and was paired with our always patient and kind CFI, Mr. Kevin Gilbert. These two overcame a few obstacles during training but came out on top with a beautiful checkride PASS! Congratulations you two and we look forward to having Mr. Lane back with us for our COM3 program soon. He opted not to have a photo placed with our social media platforms but we are thrilled for his achievement!

A big congrats goes out to Mr. Colton McKinney for earning his commercial rating with COM3! Mr. McKinney blazed through the program with his amazing CFI, Mr. Michael Hinde! Fantastic work and congratulations to you both!! ✈️

Mr. Aoi Drake embarked on a double dose of what we offer at IFR6 and COM3! ✈️

He earned his IFR rating and then continued on to his commercial rating with our ever growing COM3 program!! Truly astonishing feat!

Mr. Drake was paired with our highly sought after CFI, Miss Sarah Canterbury for his instrument accelerated and then was paired with Mr. Barry Goodwin for his commercial accelerated. He completed all of this in only 11 days total! WOAH 😳 Impressive!

We are delighted to announce another commercial rated pilot with our COM3 program, Mr. Evans Kariuki! Mr. Evans came to us from Tennessee and we thoroughly enjoyed assisting him to earn his license. He was placed with our “King COM mastermind,” Mr. Barry Goodwin! These two flew to victory and the rest is history! Just look at those smiles!! Thank you for trusting COM3 and congratulations 🎊

Mr. Aidan McCready is IFR6’s latest instrument rated pilot!! Mr. McCready traveled from several states away to earn this certificate with the help of his brilliant CFI, Miss Sarah Canterbury. Mr. Aidan delivered flawlessly and earned his well deserved Checkride PASS! Congratulations to you!! 🎈✈️

A huge, congratulations goes out to Mr. Adib Afraj! Mr. Afraj is one of our many coveted Smokehouse Pilots to earn his instrument rating with IFR6! It was a pleasure working with Adib and pairing him with our chief pilot, Mr. Zach Dodd. These two chiseled away at each days assignments and Adib walked away with an enormous smile and a checkride PASS! Congratulations and thank you for choosing IFR6 for your instrument rating! ✈️

IFR6 is proud to congratulate Mr. Fred Clausen on earning his instrument flight rating in only 5 days!! Fred came to us at our booth with Redbird while at Oshkosh, Wisconsin earlier this year. It was great to put a face with a name. Fred nailed his program in his sleek DA62 with one of our incredibly versatile CFI’s. Way to make it look like a cake walk, Mr. Clausen!

Mr. Smith was a personal referral from one of his colleagues and specifically requested our laid back and fun loving CFI, Mr. Barry Goodwin! These men put in the work and walked away with a Checkride PASS!

IFR6 strikes again! We enjoyed having our latest instrument pilot, Mr. Aaron Herman with us. Aaron traveled from afar to partake on this training and he crushed it! Mr. Herman was placed with our sweetie pie CFI, Miss Brenna Myers. These two knocked it out of the park with that golden checkride pass!! Congratulations to you both!

We’d like to recognize one of our latest superstars, Mr. Samvel Grigorian! Mr. Sam came to us from New York State and had inquired about our program many months ago. He finally decided to sign up and was paired with our highly coveted CFI, Mr. Chris White. Chris showed Sam the ropes, put in the flight time and these two recently celebrated his checkride pass! Congratulations on your recent success and thanks for trusting IFR6!

IFR6 is thrilled to recognize its newest instrument certificated pilot, Mr. Shashi Prasad!! Mr. Prasad traveled from Florida to embark on this challenge. We enjoyed working with him from sign up to sign off. Shashi was paired with one of our award winning, CFI’s. They overcame a few obstacles with weather but came out on top with that big checkride PASS! Shashi, thank you for putting your trust with IFR6! Congratulations 🎉

We are proud to announce IFR6’s newest certificated instrument pilot, Mr. James Colson!! Mr. Colson was paired up with our incredibly devoted CFI, Mr. Kevin Gilbert. Kevin blasted through the material with James and these two came out on top with a beautiful Checkride PASS!! Mr. Barrett overcame several pesky hurdles but stayed persistent and came out on top with a well deserved Checkride PASS!! Our sweet as pie CFI, Miss Brenna Myers is at it again!! Miss Brenna brought her latest 6 day instrument student, Hitesh Jasani to victory yesterday with a wonderful checkride PASS!! Mr. Jasani came to us as a Smokehouse Pilots referral and we were thrilled to host him here in Charleston, SC this week.
