Do you want to travel the world? 3rd grade took us around the world with their amazing projects! Ms. Moore assigned each student a different country and they had to research it. The students made amazing boards about the country and became a person from there! They brought food, clothes, and even things from that country! Wow! Where will they take us next?

Did someone say SPIRIT WEEK?!

Last week LCCS had a spectacular spirit week to prep for the fun run!

Tuesday was team spirit day, Wednesday was dress like your future and past self, and Thursday was dress as your favorite color.

Look at our amazing community!

7th and 8th grades presents a “Tour of the Biosphere”

Each student was assigned a different biosphere and did research on it. Then built their biosphere and food web.

Students in K - 3rd grade were able to travel and learn about all the major biomes on our planet! They learned about what makes each biome special, the plants and animals that live there, and all about food webs! We can't wait to see what they will do next!

Hey everyone, please meet our excellent 4th-grade teacher, Stephanie Warren! Mrs. Warren has been at LCCS before and returned last school year. She loves her family, church, school, and Savior. When she’s not in school, she enjoys traveling with Mr. Warren and playing drums on the worship team at Risen Hope Church. Mrs. Warren has been married to her husband, Christopher, for 32 years and has 2 wonderful daughters, a son-in-law, and a sweet grandbaby on the way! In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, ballet, and playing board games—not at the same time! Mrs. Warren's students say they love her classroom and the decorations! We love her so much and everything she does.

Meet our extraordinary 3rd-grade teacher, Miss Moore. Miss Moore has been teaching for 16 years! She has been at LCCS for 2 years and teaches sign language after school. She loves to make learning fun and relationships with her students. When Miss. Moore is not at school, you can find her working outside with family, at the beach, with her niece, hanging out with friends and family, shopping, reading, or watching football. Oh, and did we mention that Miss Moore loves Christmas? Her personality is as bright as her room. She said, "Teaching is my ministry," we can see it in all she does. We love that she is fun, creative, and a little crazy. Miss. Moore is such a blessing to our school; we love her so much!

We are so excited to announce that LCCS is getting Wiggy! No, that doesn't mean we are all getting fitted for wigs or making wigs mandatory. WIGS stands for Wildly Important Goals. God has called us this year at LCCS to unite as a community supporting each other. What better way than to work together towards a common goal? Our first school-wide goal is around Math fluency. Each grade level will have an appropriate skill that they are working on. We will be practicing and working together to meet our goals. We are so excited to get WIGGY!

Hey everyone, meet our spunky teacher, Mrs. Taylor Horton. This is her 3rd year at LCCS teaching First grade. Her classroom, full of pineapples and flamingos, is just as fun and bright as her personality. Mrs. Horton has been married to her husband, Tyler, for 3 years. She also has a sweet cat named Mr. Bates, whom she found at the school 3 years ago. She challenges her students daily to do their best while making learning fun and exciting. When Mrs. Horton is not teaching, she makes bread, hangs out with friends and family, or watches movies at home. She is a true blessing to her students and our school!
