So Bittersweet
Owens Christian Academy
As we walked the halls, visited each classroom, and embraced the amazing educators of Owens Christian Academy, the moment was truly bittersweet. Both Tommie and I were filled with so many emotions—especially an overwhelming sense of sadness as we prepared to close this chapter at a place that has been such a pillar in our community.
Owens Christian Academy has played an incredible role in laying the foundation of Tommie’s education. I truly believe there is no other institution that could have nurtured, supported, and catered to our children on such an individual level. OCA has not only educated our children, but has embraced them, loved them, and helped them grow.
It brings me great joy to say that OCA stands on business and is deeply grounded and rooted in its motto. The love, commitment, and dedication shown to every child are unmatched.
With an open-door policy like no other, we know that we will always be welcomed with open arms. ❤️

OCA’s garden:adventures of earth day 🌎

From planting seeds and flowers on Earth Day to watching our garden flourish, our students have enjoyed every step of the journey! In just a few short weeks, our cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, and potatoes have begun to blossom. The K3 class proudly jarred their fresh cucumbers, while the K5 class had fun making and tasting homemade cucumber chips. What an exciting way to learn about growth, patience, and healthy eating! them grow. Thank you to our amazing teachers for fostering a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment. Your dedication goes far beyond academics you spark curiosity, build confidence, and shape the futures of out amazing young scholars .
