Designed to help first-generation and underrepresented students prepare for college success, the Rising Scholars Program provides academic enrichment, mentorship and support while creating pathways to higher education and future careers.

Students in the program represent partner schools including Alliance, Canton South, Fairless, GlenOak, Massillon and McKinley.

Led by LaTrese Sanders, academic program coordinator, the Rising Scholars Program helps ensure that more Stark County students have the opportunity to achieve their educational goals. For more information, visit https://www.kent.edu/stark/rising-scholars
