What a fun week at the ELC!

Our Preschool, Pre-K, and Toddler friends enjoyed Chapel and story time with Miss Penny. This week's Chapel lesson focused on The Belt of Truth and Noah's Ark as we learned that God's truth helps guide us every day.

In art, we painted our recycled collages using different types of paint and recycled items.

We also explored our exciting Treasure Island theme! From seashell sensory bins and map-making to pirate adventures, our little explorers had a blast learning through play. 🏴‍☠️🗺️🐚

We can't wait to see what next week brings!

Summer is in full swing!

Our first week of summer was packed with fun, adventure, and plenty of smiles! From Bike Day and Stretch & Grow to water play, nature walks, and of course a visit from Kona Ice.

The laughter, learning, and memories are already off to an amazing start, and this is just the beginning!

Today marks the last day of the school year here at the ELC! 🎉☀️

We are so thankful for all of the memories we’ve made together this year, the laughter we’ve shared, and all of the things we’ve learned along the way. It has been such a joy watching each child grow, explore, and shine.

We’re also so excited for all of the fun summer activities we have planned here at the ELC!

For those who won’t be joining us this summer, we hope you have a wonderful and blessed summer filled with lots of swimming, ice cream, vacations, sunshine, and special memories with your families. We can’t wait to see what the next season brings for everyone! 💛

What a fun week at the ELC! 🐞🦋

This week we explored bugs and crawly things through so many hands-on activities! We played in sensory tables, traced our letters in shaving cream, created beautiful butterflies using the Paint-and-Fold Symmetry Technique, and practiced our skills with color matching games. Learning through play has made this unit so much fun for everyone!

This week at the ELC we had so much fun learning all about bugs and crawly things! 🐛🦋

The children made creative bug crafts using playdough, designed their own headbands, and created beautiful butterflies out of paper. We also explored bugs up close using magnifying glasses and learned so many interesting facts along the way!

In chapel with Miss Penny, we also participated in confessions and spent time reflecting and learning together.

We were also able to enjoy some much needed outside time this week, and we are so excited for all of our upcoming outdoor activities as the nice weather continues!

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing ELC parents! Your kindness and generosity throughout Teacher Appreciation Week meant so much to our staff. From thoughtful treats and surprises to sweet notes and gestures of appreciation, you truly made our teachers feel so valued and loved. These little moments of encouragement go such a long way and remind our teachers just how supported they are by such a wonderful community. Thank you for helping make this week so special for our team you are appreciated more than you know!

What a FUN week here at the ELC! 🐞🐛🦋

This week we kicked off our new theme, *Bugs & Crawly Things*, and our kiddos had an absolute blast creating so many adorable and creative bugs! We explored different textures and materials using paint, bubble wrap, paper circles, pipe cleaners, and so much more. It has been so exciting watching their imaginations come to life through art and sensory play!

In chapel this week, we learned about Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just as God forgave you.” 💛 We talked about showing kindness to our friends, using caring words, and learning how to forgive others.

Lastly, we want to wish all of our wonderful moms, grandmas, bonus moms, and mother figures a very Happy Mother’s Day! 🌸 Thank you for all the love, strength, comfort, and endless support you pour into your little ones every day. We hope your weekend is filled with love, laughter, and lots of cuddles from your kiddos! 💕

Happy May 1st from the ELC! 🌸

We kicked off the month with Stretch & Grow with Coach Tom, and our friends had so much fun staying active and moving their bodies! Our toddler friends also had a blast at their luau party celebrating with all of their friends.

We are so excited to jump into “Bugs and Crawly Things!” for the month of May, We can’t wait to explore, learn, and see what fun adventures May has in store for us! 🐜🐛
