This time, Walsh University spring Rome students are at the ancient city of Pompeii! The city that was buried under ash and pumice when mountain Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD. Did you see a glimpse of Vesuvius in the last picture?

Greeting from Walsh University Spring Rome students from The Vatican! Students visited St. Peter’s basilica, which is the largest church in the world. The dome of the building was built by Michelangelo at the age of 24. There is about 592 steps going up to the top of St. Peter's basilica. Underneath the church holds the tombs of the old popes.
