Join us for a special Open House as we celebrate and honor Scott Ryter for his remarkable 23 years of dedicated service as Plain Local Schools CCP Fire Program Lead Instructor.

Stark State College is honored to host the Eyes of Freedom exhibit on our campus May 19–22.

This powerful traveling memorial tells the stories of service, sacrifice, and resilience of those who have served our nation.

Opening Ceremony: May 19 at 10:00 a.m.

Open to the Public.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Enbridge Energy for their generous grant donation.

This funding allowed us to purchase a new set of battery-powered Genesis Eforce3 rescue tools.

These extrication tools represent a $50,000 investment in our students, helping ensure they train with the same equipment they will encounter in the workforce.

Yesterday the Monday, Wednesday, Friday Firefighter 1&2 class were doing ladder evolutions on our 75' Aerial. Cadet Sam Robinson was at the top, with Instructor Isaac Hull backing him up, as a U.S. Navy jet flew by! Perfect timing on such a beautiful Ohio day!
