On Sunday, August 2, 2026, instructors from Stark State College’s Fire and EMS Academy participated in the 40th Annual Muster and Pump-In in Alliance as part of the Greater Alliance Carnation Festival.

Stark State’s Engine 113 and Medic 1 proudly represented the college in the Kick-Off Parade, which marked the official start of the festival. The event provided an opportunity for instructors to engage with the community while showcasing the Fire and EMS Academy and the college’s commitment to public safety education.

Stark State’s Engine 113 was also recognized with the “Best Pumper” award, highlighting the pride and professionalism of the academy and its instructors.
