Stark State College will lead a statewide effort to modernize engineering technology education and address Ohio’s growing need for skilled advanced manufacturing technicians through a $2.35 million National Science Foundation (NSF) grant.

Through the Ohio Scale-M Consortium, we're partnering with the Ohio Association of Community Colleges, Lorain County Community College and Owens Community College to create a statewide model for aligning education with industry workforce needs in automation, artificial intelligence and microelectronics

Proud moment for Stark State's Fire and EMS Academy! 🚒🏆 On Aug. 2, our instructors participated in the 40th Annual Muster and Pump-In as part of the Greater Alliance Carnation Festival.

Stark State’s Engine 113 and Medic 1 represented the College in the Kick-Off Parade, giving our team the chance to engage with the community and showcase our commitment to public safety education. Engine 113 also received the “Best Pumper” award, highlighting the pride and professionalism of the academy and our instructors.
