What a GREAT day for our Nazir Grotto guys! ❤️🎪

Today the Grotto joined the Hoover Masonic Lodge #770 at the North Canton Main Street Festival, and apparently all it takes is a dunk tank, a few fezzes, some questionable decision-making 😂 and a group of guys willing to have a whole lot of fun!

Our Grotto guys really stepped up, worked together and absolutely knocked it out of the park. They brought a crowd to the booth, shared plenty of laughs, and made the day a wonderful success! 🎉

We we're especially proud to hear the Blue Lodge say what a great job the Grotto did and how much they helped bring people in. That's what fellowship is supposed to look like—different parts of our Masonic family working side by side, supporting one another and having a good time while doing it.

And our Daughters even had a little representation on the table! 💜🐪❤️

Great job, guys! The Daughters are proud of you!

Some of the sweetest days are the simple ones ❤️

I spent my day off Daughtering with two of my very best friends—working on lanyards, crafting, laughing, talking, snacking, and just enjoying being together.

Nazir brought us together as Daughters, but somewhere along the way, these two became so much more than that. They became the kind of friends who make ordinary days feel special and busy little projects feel like memories in the making. 💙

I’m so thankful for days like today… good friends, full hearts, lots of laughter, and a little Daughtering mixed in. 🥰

What a wonderful way to end our August Stated Meeting! 🤗

After taking care of business, we got comfy, relaxed, and turned the evening over to our wonderfully funny and talented Daughter Dottie, who served as our auctioneer for our Garden & Porch Auction! 😂🙋‍♀️ She has a way of making everything more entertaining, and tonight was no exception!

Thanks to the generosity and good spirits of our Daughters, we raised a great start toward purchasing the appreciation bags and station gift for The Oesch Family First Responder Appreciation Project, created in honor of Daughter Kate and in memory of Greg. 🚒❤️

There was plenty of laughter, a little friendly bidding competition, and lots of fellowship—all while supporting something very special.

Thank you, Dottie, for keeping us laughing, and thank you to everyone who donated, bid, and helped make the evening such a success! Enjoy a little glimpse of the fun! 🥰🌹

🌸 Just a quick reminder that our August Stated Meeting is tonight!

🍔 Cookout Dinner – 6:00 PM
We're having grilled sausages, onions and peppers, baked beans, chips, and Cindy's Texas sheet cake. Feel free to bring a side dish to share if you'd like.

🎩 Stated Meeting – 7:00 PM
We'll have a short business meeting, so please remember your Fez.

🌹 Our August focus is Welcoming, represented by our Namourna, and you'll receive Chapter 9 – “Welcoming: No One Walks Alone” for your Journey Behind the Veil.

After business, we'll get comfy and finally have our Garden & Porch Auction that we didn't get to in June!

Just a reminder that our August Stated Meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 12th.

Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m., with our meeting to follow upstairs at 7:00 p.m. Please remember to bring your Fez.

We're having a cookout for dinner, so bring a side if you can.

This month, our Journey Behind the Veil focuses on our Namourna and the principle of Welcoming—the spirit of making others feel seen, valued, and included.

We will also be introducing The Oesch Family First Responder Appreciation Project. In honor of Daughter Kate and the Oesch family, we will prepare individual appreciation bags and a shared station gift for local first responders. The project was inspired by Greg’s lifelong appreciation for firetrucks, firehouses, and those who serve their communities.

To help fund this special project, we will hold our auction following our meeting. Proceeds will be used to purchase the supplies for the appreciation bags and station gift.

We will then gather during our Fun and Fellowship Night on Wednesday, August 26th, to assemble the bags and write personal notes of thanks.

🌹 August Reflection: Welcoming 🌹

As we continue our journey Behind the Veil, our August focus turns to the principle of Welcoming, represented by our Namourna.

The color of this station is Rose—a symbol of warmth, compassion, and the beauty that blossoms when hearts are open to one another.

A welcoming spirit is more than greeting someone at the door. It is creating a place where every person feels seen, valued, and accepted. It is the smile that eases uncertainty, the conversation that invites belonging, and the hand extended in friendship.

When we welcome others with genuine hearts, we reflect the very best of our Order. We remind one another that no one has to walk the journey alone. Every act of kindness, every word of encouragement, and every invitation to belong helps weave another thread into the fabric of our sisterhood.

May we strive to be the warm smile that puts another at ease, the familiar face that offers comfort, and the open heart that reminds every Daughter she has found a place to belong.

Afterward, we’ll finish up our beaded lanyards, visit, and enjoy a relaxed evening together. Everyone is welcome, so come join us for some food, fellowship, and fun! 💕

Come join us for a fun and relaxing Open Lodge Night on Wednesday, July 29 at 6:00pm.

We'll be working on our beaded lanyards (Cindy has some fun new beads to share!), enjoying good conversation, listening to music, and simply spending time together.

There will be pizza, pasta and salad. If you're able, please bring a small snack to share—nothing fancy, just something to nibble on while we craft and visit.

The Lodge Room will also be open for anyone who would like to practice for Supreme Session, gather costumes or props, or do a little planning.

Whether you stay for a few minutes or the whole evening, we'd love to see you. Come for the crafting, stay for the fellowship!
