Just a friendly reminder that our June Stated Meeting will be held tonight.

After the meeting, we'll be holding our Garden & Porch Auction and Raffle, so be sure to stay and join in the fun!

Tonight's dinner contributions include:

• Barb – Coleslaw

If anyone else would like to bring something to share, please feel free—whatever you'd like is always welcome!

I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful start of summer!

This is a reminder that our Nazir #27 Stated Meeting will be held next Wednesday, June 10th.

Dinner with the Grotto will begin at 6:00 PM, followed by our Stated Meeting upstairs.

This month's focus is Faith.

Faith reminds us to trust in what we cannot always see—in our values, in one another, and in the greater good we serve. It is the steady flame that keeps us moving forward when the path is uncertain. We look forward to sharing a meaningful evening centered on this important principle.

Our Keeper of the Jewel for June will be Yusef, Barb Stuart.

Each Daughter in attendance will receive:
• Chapter 7 – Faith: A Steady Flame in the Unknown from Our Journey Behind the Veil
• A Reflection Page
• A matching Station Card for your Daughters Deck

Following our meeting, we'll enjoy our Garden & Porch Themed Auction and Raffle!

Think flowers, gardens, porches, patios, summer decorating, outdoor entertaining, handmade items, seasonal goodies, and all the little things that make summer feel welcoming and cozy. Whether you're bidding, donating, or simply enjoying the fun, we hope you'll join in for an evening of laughter and fellowship.

Another wonderful evening of fellowship, laughter, creativity, and Sisterhood! 💜✨

Our Daughters gathered together to continue working on the beautiful beaded lanyards we are creating for Supreme Grotto Session, and the room was filled with conversation, smiles, and helping hands. It’s amazing how something as simple as beads and string can bring people together in such a meaningful way.

Thank you to everyone who came, brought supplies, shared food, and spent the evening creating alongside one another. These fellowship nights are becoming such a special part of our year — a reminder that the bonds we build together are just as important as the projects themselves.

Every bead truly does count… because every Daughter does too. 💎💜

🐪🌙 What a wonderful evening of fellowship, laughter, and friendship at our first gathering of The Ancient Order of the Caravan at The Desert Inn!

Fourteen Travelers gathered together outside the lodge to enjoy good food, warm camaraderie, and a fun and lighthearted initiation into our newest fellowship tradition.

Each attendee was officially welcomed as a Traveler of the Ancient Order of the Caravan and presented with an official postcard passport and camel keychain as a keepsake of the evening.

We were also honored to recognize two very special members of our Nazir family:

🐪 David McIntire was recognized for his many years of faithful service as Secretary, Treasurer, and friend of Nazir Grotto. He was bestowed the honorary title of Grand Keeper of the Order of the Caravan and presented with a commemorative passport, handsome lapel pin, and camel keychain.

🎹 Daughter Harriet Cassel was recognized for her many years of dedication and service as Nazir #27 Daughters of Mokanna’s beloved Arrah. She was bestowed the honorary title of The Caravan’s Harmonist in appreciation for the harmony, friendship, and warmth she has brought to our gatherings throughout the years. She was presented with her commemorative passport, a musical-themed fez tassel guard, and camel keychain.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at The Desert Inn for their hospitality and excellent service throughout the evening.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this evening so memorable. It was a beautiful reminder that fellowship and friendship are truly at the heart of our journey together.

Memorial Day Weekend is a time for gathering, gratitude, and remembrance. 🇺🇸❤️

As we enjoy cookouts, sunshine, laughter, and time with those we love, let us also pause to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Their courage and service will never be forgotten.
Wishing everyone a safe, peaceful, and meaningful Memorial Day Weekend.

May we honor the fallen not only with words, but by living with kindness, unity, and gratitude.
