From the First Day to the Last In-Person Day 🎓❤️
There are moments in higher education when you realize just how far a group has traveled.
Today was one of those moments.
From their first days as occupational therapy students, learning, questioning, practicing, growing, and sometimes simply figuring it all out, to today, their final in-person day together, this cohort has completed an incredible part of their journey.
They have moved through classrooms, labs, assignments, competencies, fieldwork experiences, challenges, celebrations, and countless moments of growth along the way. What once seemed so far in the distance is suddenly here.
And while today marks the end of their time together in the classroom, their journey isn’t finished quite yet. The next chapter is about taking everything they have learned and carrying it forward as they prepare to enter the profession.
One of the greatest privileges of being an educator is getting to witness the transformation that happens between the beginning and the end, the confidence gained, the relationships built, and the professionals who emerge.
From students learning what it means to become occupational therapists… to soon becoming colleagues in the profession.
What a journey. ❤️
So proud of how far they have come and excited to see where they go next.
