BioClub is officially in full swing for the fall semester! We will have meetings Thursday the 16th, and Friday the 17th. Bio Club is hosting a fundraiser at Dairy Queen on March 3rd. The event will take place from 5-8 at 4110 Hills and Dales Rd NW, Canton, OH 44708. Bring all your friends and families! We hope to see you all there!

The resource fair this year is rapidly approaching. This is a great opportunity for your friends, fellow classmates or yourself to learn what Bio Club is all about, and the fantastic opportunities you can be a part of!
It will be held online on Friday the 29th, from 1-2pm. Everyone is welcome to join us in the breakout room to help introduce newcomers to Bio Club!

Hey all!
As we enter the New Year we just wanted to update everyone on meeting dates and times.
Meetings will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays at 5:30-6:30 pm. At least a weeks notice will be given on the exact dates for the respective months. The meetings will be held over zoom, so no need to worry about masks and social distancing!
Both of these meetings will provide the same information and attendance is only needed for one of the two meetings. Whichever works best in your crazy schedule!

Hey Bioclub and friends!

Happy spooky season! As we all know, BioClub-Stark volunteers at Beech Creek Gardens to put on Spooky Science for the community. This year is a bit different because of COVID-19. We’re still volunteering, but at a safe distance! The theme for this year is Harry Potter. So lots of work, but tons of fun!

The biggest necessities are:
1) VOLUNTEERS (even if it’s for an hour, that still helps!)
2) Supplies for the creatures/signs
3) Help making the creatures/signs
4) Research on the creatures and how they relate to our world

Spooky Science is for the whole month of October- so plenty of time and opportunity to help out!

Spooky Science | beechcreekgardens What a perfect time of year to celebrate and educate about the natural world! Spooky Science is about teaching people in a fun and creative environment about all the things in nature that can "spook or creep" you out, like spiders, snakes, and bats.

Hey All!

Just a friendly reminder that all BioClub meetings are held every 2nd week of the month on Thursday’s and Friday’s at 12:30pm-1:30pm.

Thursday meetings are in room 217 in the Science and Nursing Building.

Friday meeting are in room 128- same building.

There’s no difference in either meeting- just one is headed by Rena on Thursday and the other is headed by Destiny of Friday. They both include the same information! Just providing flexibility so we can be as conducive as possible for everyone’s busy schedules!
