Quest High School North Branch, MI Quest was established in 2004 by North Branch High School Principal Mark Hiltunen who saw the need to serve ALL students at North Branch Area Schools.

Quest’s average graduating class varies between 25-40 students per year. Quest has received great notoriety at the local, state, and national levels due to its student based initiatives, support from administration and the community, and from its close knit staff.

Mr. Rosser will be completing summer school on July 27th. He will be out of the office until August 19th.

Just a reminder, because all new students have one-on-one interviews with Mr. Rosser, we do not have an orientation night. We will be sending a newsletter home that you should receive before the start of the school year. If you don’t receive it, please email Mr. Rosser at [email protected] and he will make sure your address is updated.

The AM/PM schedule will be posted outside of the computer lab by August 19th or you can email Mr. Rosser and he will let you know when yours is. The first day of school is August 24th. Students will get their full daily schedule on the first day. Unfortunately, due to last minute enrollments schedules change frequently leading up to the first week, and we have found it easier to provide them the first day.

If you are unsure of your schedule, come in the AM on the first day of school and Mr. Rosser can guide you.

PARKING
Students will use the parking lot to the East of the administrative wing, across from the gym. Please be respectful of our neighbors.

SUPPLY LIST
Some students choose to use their own headphones. They will need a notebook and writing utensils. All other supplies are provided!

Mr. Rosser had the incredible opportunity to attend Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama, as part of the National Teacher of the Year Program!

The North Branch community has a long and proud connection to Space Camp. Over the past two decades, North Branch Area Schools has sent well over 100 students to the program, with several alumni going on to careers in the aerospace industry. The experience for students has been made possible through the generosity of the community and the annual Old-Fashioned Family Christmas fundraiser held each December. The program's success has also been the result of the dedication of many staff members over the years, including Cindy Mitchell, Cindy and Paul Lewis, Amber White, and Anne Wood.

While at Space Camp, Mr. Rosser trained on astronaut simulators alongside Teachers of the Year representing all 50 states. He also had the privilege of meeting NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman and retired astronaut Dorothy Metcalf-Lindenburger. In addition to this once-in-a-lifetime experience, Mr. Rosser returned with new instructional resources and ideas that Mr. Scalf will incorporate into Quest's science curriculum this school year, allowing students to benefit directly from the experience.

LET'S SEE HOW FAR WE'VE COME

Catching up with Emma Whitis, class of 2025. Emma was a recipient of the Faithful Truck and Auto, and the Carolyn and Ron Bower Memorial Quest Merit Scholarships.

After graduating, Emma attended Tennessee Wesleyan University to work toward her Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene. She ended her first semester with a 3.5 GPA. Second semester, Emma shifted gears, moving back to Michigan, transferring to Ferris State University, and changing her major to a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. She completed her spring semester with a 3.5 GPA. She completed her semester with a 3.3 GPA.

Graduation rehearsal is this coming Tuesday, May 26th at 11:45 at the high school auditorium. As long as everyone is on time we should be done in just over an hour. If you have not paid, please bring your $50

Both the Quest boys and girls teams "rolled" at the TASL Bowling Championship today! Both came away victorious with the boys winning by over 200 pins, and the girls over 100.
