Baxter Bear lumbered out of the woods to welcome students to the first day at North Berwick Elementary School. Mrs. Forte's class learned a few things while enjoying the afternoon sun on the playground and a kinder student works diligently to cut out his bus just right!

This week has been busy in the absolute best way! Our third graders had a fantastic field trip hiking Mt. Agamenticus and visiting the wildlife center. We also hosted an incredible Field Day- a huge shout-out to Ms. Paskowski for planning a perfect day for our staff, students, and all the wonderful families who volunteered and cheered us on! To make the day even more special, we kicked things off with a beautiful dedication ceremony, officially naming our gymnasium in honor of Mrs. McCormick.

There is nothing quite like the confidence of a preschooler proud of their hard work. Our students took center stage at our Preschool Showcase, presenting their favorite projects to families, staff, and peers. From the science of sprouting sunflowers to the creativity of sculpting birds' nests from organic materials, they showed us all what it looks like to take ownership of your learning. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our littlest leaders!
