This morning our students presented their finding surrounding hunger in our community. Each group was responsible for researching topics such as Food Insecurity, Food Waste, Food Desserts and Food Swamps.

After completing their research, each group was then responsible for finding a solution that can be implemented within our community. From Community Gardens to Share Tables and encouraging Composting your food waste, our students have worked hard on ways we can educate the community on hunger as well as innovative solutions to combat hunger.

Our students created brochures, fliers, and even a website to help educate others about hunger. Be sure to follow the link below and check out the website one of our groups created!

Thank you to the D.A. Hurd Library, for allowing us to present our findings to an authentic audience. Thank you to everyone who came out to our celebration.

Our students worked so hard and it is always so wonderful to celebrate their accomplishments with our community!
